Medallion XLN

A network built for doing the work

Turn goals into the right conversations.

Tell Medallion what you’re trying to accomplish. See the people, opportunities and communities that are relevant to it, and why.

Currently in open beta · Start with your role and a goal.

Give the network direction

What are you trying to accomplish?

Pick an example. Every chapter below redraws around it. You’ll set your own goal, in your own words, after you sign up.

Example Founder, raise capital: a seed round for a payments API in public beta. That goal needs seed-stage investors, proof of early demand and someone who has raised before. See the network form

One connected workspace

One goal. Several specific needs.

A goal tells the network what to look for. Medallion reads it as needs, the kinds of people who can help with each, and the move you could make next.

Your goal

Raise capitalA seed round for a payments API in public beta

What it needs

Who can help

  • Investor
  • Corporate Innovation
  • Advisor

What you can do

  • Request an introduction
  • Share the demo with a pilot team
  • Ask for a fundraising review

People · Opportunities · Communities

More than connections.

People, opportunities and communities are linked by what someone is trying to do, so each one can point you to the others.

The work becomes context

Your work becomes context.

Your Profile brings together projects, video, audio, documents and contributions. That context can help explain why an opportunity is relevant to you, and to the people you reach out to.

The right next connection

An opportunity comes with its reasons.

Each result shows why it might matter and what it is based on, and it marks what is only an inference, so you can judge it yourself.

From you

  • GoalRaise capital
  • ContextPayments API — public beta

Person · InvestorExample

A seed investor focused on fintech infrastructure

Your Raise capital goal and their Invest goal point at the same stage and sector.

Why this might matter
  • Stage: you are raising a seed round; they invest at seed.
  • Sector: payments infrastructure falls inside their stated focus.
  • Path: an advisor you both know could introduce you.

Stated by them

  • Their profile lists seed-stage fintech as a focus
  • They set an Invest goal for infrastructure software

Inferred, check it

  • Your demo covers a problem their past writing discusses
  • You are both members of one Community
Solid lines: context the other person stated on their profile or goal. Dashed lines: overlaps Medallion noticed that you should verify. Example content; Opportunity never guarantees an introduction, a reply or an outcome.

Now there’s a reason to talk

You choose the next move.

Message directly, ask someone you both know for an introduction, or bring several people into a group. Medallion never sends outreach on your behalf.

Good to know

A little context before your next move.

What is Medallion XLN?

A network where people set goals, explore relevant people, opportunities and communities, start conversations, and coordinate work together.

How does Opportunity work?

You choose a supported goal and add context. Opportunity shows results with a reason, the evidence behind it and a next action. Possible fits with thin evidence stay possible fits.

Are my goals public?

You control whether a permitted summary of your goal is shared with eligible matches. Goal details follow the product’s visibility controls.

Does Medallion contact people for me?

No. Every message, introduction request and group is written and sent by you.

Can I meet investors or collaborators?

You can explore relevant people and ask to talk. Access and replies are never guaranteed.

Are the people on this page real?

No. Every person, opportunity and Community shown here is an example of how the product works.

The network begins with you
